REVISED ON: WEDNESDAY, 18th AUGUST 2021
INTRODUCTION
In accordance with the A.O.S Academy’s Staff Information and Regulation Handbook, this policy manual points out the necessary issues relating to the referral bonuses and percentages which employees, brand ambassadors and even clients/customers are entitled to when referrals are brought into the Academy.
REFERRAL RIGHTS
As a way of encouraging more publicity and marketing efforts, each candidate or project that comes into the academy, the referring ambassador, existing client/customer or employee will be entitled to within 5-10% commission depending on the service or product purchased by such candidate/customer.
For the purpose of illustration, the Academy has three (3) major departments (Tutorial Sessions, French Language Studies and Project Assistance) from which various products and services emerge from. In the Tutorial sessions’ department for instance, a candidate who is referred to the Academy by a referee and who takes tutorials on three (3) courses for a month will pay about ₦5,000 and from that; the referee will be entitled to 5% which amounts to ₦250.
In the French studies’ department, the Academy extends within 5-10% of the candidate’s tuition fees depending on the program signed for by the candidate. There are three (3) main programs in the department namely; French beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. For the beginner program, 5% referral bonus is extended, intermediate, 7.5% and Advanced, 10%.
In the project assistance department, the Academy boosts of a wide range of services from literature sales (past projects, relevant PDFs, articles, journals, e.t.c.), data collection, data analysis, chapter or whole project compilation. For literature sales, data collection and analysis, 5% referral bonus is extended but for chapter or whole project compilation, 10% referral bonus is extended. Thus, when a project client pays in ₦50,000 for a project compilation, the referee is entitled to ₦5,000 referral bonus.STATUS OF REFERRALS AND REFEREES
The referral bonus and percentage are only for SIMPLE DIRECT referrals. The referral benefits just a one-time bonus/percentage at the event of referral. No form of multilevel or repeat marketing or even compound referral is allowed. The only form approved is direct. And the more people referred to the Academy by a referee, the more a referee earns once first payment has been done by the referred customer/client.
In the event when a candidate is referred to the Academy but doesn’t purchase a product or pay for a service, no referral bonus/percentage is extended to the referee. A payment must be made to the Academy via its official payment platforms before a referee is remitted.
All individuals, associations or other bodies who wish to serve as a referee for A.O.S Academy would be accorded as a member of the A.O.S PUBLICITY AND MARKETING TEAM. Hence, such individual, association/ body are required to abide with A.O.S PUBLICTY AND MARKETING CODE OF CONDUCT.SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM
However, personal chats, calls or even texts may be used from time to time to ease or fasten communication between the referee and the Academy or in the advent such referee has no access to internet. Once the Referral Policy has been signed and sent back to the Academy, the referee will be added up to the official group.
