The A.O.S Global Travel Grant – Brand Manifesto
To empower 1 million immigrant journeys abroad by 2030, ensuring that every aspiring traveler, student, worker and entrepreneur has access to the resources, funding, and guidance needed to thrive across borders. To become the world’s leading private, immigrant-focused grant initiative, empowering ambitious migrants and international students with financial support, training, and mentorship to succeed abroad.
Migration is not just a movement of people; it is a movement of potential. Every immigrant carries within them ideas, skills, and dreams that can transform communities and nations. Yet, too often, their journeys are blocked by financial barriers, misinformation or lack of access. We believe that every immigrant deserves a fair chance to move, grow and succeed abroad.
To provide direct travel funding to selected winners each year, proving that immigrant dreams are worth investing in.
To deliver value to all applicants through our books including Funding Your Move Abroad, online courses, mentorship and partner perks — because knowledge itself is a grant.
To amplify immigrant voices by sharing their journeys, struggles and successes with the world.
To build a global community of immigrants, alumni, partners and sponsors who believe in opening doors, not closing them.
Fund 5–10% of applicants directly (headline winners).
Support 100% of applicants with resources, education and perks.
Scale impact through strategic partnerships with airlines, universities, employers and immigrant associations.
Track progress toward 1 million empowered journeys by 2030.
Just as scholarships democratized education, the A.O.S Global Travel Grant is democratizing migration. We are building not just a funding platform, but a movement that shifts how the world views immigrant potential.
When people think of migration empowerment, they will think of Azeez Olanrewaju Shoderu and the A.O.S Global Travel Grant.
Dear Friends, Applicants and Future Immigrants,
I write this letter not only as the founder of the A.O.S Global Travel Grant, but also as a fellow immigrant who has walked the path you now dream of. Just a few years ago, I arrived in Canada as a permanent resident — hopeful, uncertain, and determined. I know what it feels like to balance ambition with financial strain, to chase opportunity while facing barriers, and to wish for a helping hand.
That is why I created this grant.
The A.O.S Global Travel Grant. is more than financial assistance; it is a movement of empowerment. Our goal is bold yet simple: to support one million immigrant journeys by 2030. Each year, a select group of winners will receive direct travel funding. But more importantly, every applicant — whether funded or not — will leave with tools, knowledge, and resources to make their journey possible. This includes access to my books including Funding Your Move Abroad, educational bonuses, mentorship, and a global community of dreamers and doers.
Our philosophy is rooted in what I call EmpowerMigration: the belief that migration, when supported, is not merely relocation but empowerment. Every immigrant story is capital — human capital that enriches families, builds businesses, and strengthens societies. By funding immigrant journeys, we are investing in tomorrow’s innovators, leaders, and builders.
We are inspired by great models like the Tony Elumelu Foundation, which transformed African entrepreneurship through grants and mentorship. But unlike government programs or billionaire-led initiatives, this grant is born from the lived experience of an ordinary immigrant who believes in paying it forward. If I can take the first step, others can too.
My invitation to you is simple: join us. Whether as an applicant, a mentor, a partner, or a supporter, you are part of a global movement. A movement that recognizes migration as one of humanity’s oldest, boldest, and most empowering acts.
Together, let us build bridges where borders stand, and opportunities where barriers exist. Together, let us empower journeys.
With resolve and hope,
Azeez Olanrewaju Shoderu
